Nursery rhymes for the modern Mum

It’s raining, it’s drizzling
The young son is sniffling
He’s stuck in bed
with a cold in the head
And didn’t go to school this morn-ing

AND THEN LOOK HAPPENED:
My GAUGE must have been SO FAR OFF as to be LUDICROUS – he is SIX-AND-HALF and his FOOT is 18 cm LONG! So much for making socks for MOI this month!!! Oh well. He’s pretty chuffed at getting some loud socks. Pity they’ll only fit for like 2 weeks and he’ll grow out of them – oh. Better hurry up and finish then, hadn’t I? 🙂
PS there has been knitting on the other pink/purple/red thing too.. care to hazard a guess?

  1. I love the rhyme. I may steal it for my friend who is a new mother. I think she will appreciate it in a few years.
