Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack jump over and over and over…

Here is an actual jackjumper in our backyard – don’t be fooled by the photo: he’s as long as the end of my little finger, and bounces around really fast!

  1. I got stung by a jumping jack about 5 years ago whilst on a driving holiday. Only I could drive the car and half my hand puffed up like a bowling ball…. Great pic, what sort of camera?
Also congrats on diving into debt. We love having our own place 🙂

  2. We haven’t had any stings yet, but 3 kids – only a matter of time…
Camera is hubby’s Canon PowerShot S2 IS 5 megapixel, which couldn’t actually focus down that close – I had to crop a much bigger image, but it came out surprisingly clear!
thanks on the congrats – just have to wait on Which Bank to approve and sign, and organise insurance, after which it will all be over bar the packing 🙂

  4. #4 How clever!!! I love the clicky trick, the socks look great!!! We kept Penetrinee (Spelling??) green liquid stuff, by the back door as we were always getting bitten!!! They are shockers. I have had children in my class with Epi-pns, I had to jab them the minute they were bitten: thankfull none were!!

  5. Thank you! I am really enjoying myself playing with this blog – I get to mess around in cyberspace without worrying about satisfying assessment criteria or staying on-task – such fun!!!
